NILAGYAN ng marker at kinilala bilang Heritage Tree ang isang 100-taong gulang na Puno ng Botong na matatagpuan sa Brgy. 13, Lungsod ng Pasay, kahapon, Disyembre 18, 2023.
Pinangunahan ng Ina ng Lungsod ng Pasay, Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano, Pasay Culture and Arts Council Teresita Robles, at Department of Environment and Natural Resources ang unveiling ceremony na sinundan ng pagpirma ng memorandum of agreement na pangangalagaan at iingatan ang nasabing puno.
“Rest assured, in this journey, heritage sites such as this tree will not be replaced or hidden. Rather, it will be more highlighted and emphasized, because it is our mission to remain truly Pasayenyo, truly Filipino, while we grow into an internationally competitive EcoCity,” ani Mayor Ime sa kanyang mensahe.
