Ayon kay Senate President Miguel Juan “Migz” Zubiri, “Congratulations po sa ating kaibigan na si Sec. Ralph Recto on the confirmation of his ad interim appointment as our Secretary of Finance!
“Malaki po ang tiwala natin kay Sec. Ralph — hindi lang dahil henyo siya sa mga numero, pero dahil matagal na natin siyang kasama sa Senado at alam natin na kaya niyang itulay ang economic growth ng bansa sa araw-araw na pangangailangan ng mga Pilipino.
“There is no better person to head the Department of Finance than Sec. Ralph. Congratulations!”
